Music lessons are provided in school by Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust. Pupils can learn guitar, brass, piano, strings or woodwind. We have a dedicated music room where small groups and individual lessons take place.
In class, all children have a weekly music session where they learn to play an instrument, such as the ocarina or recorder. Once a year, one class have a music experience where they learn an instrument as a whole class in a series of 10 music lessons.
Every year we invite parents, carers and family to watch our music assembly where we celebrate music across all age groups with group and individual performances.
Singing is a regular part of the school week at assembly and during the year at plays and performances.
Please talk to your class teacher if your child is interested in starting music lessons.
