On the 1st September 2013, Chipping Warden, Kings Sutton and Middleton Cheney community primary schools reopened as academies and together formed the South Northamptonshire Village Schools Multi Academy Trust (SNVSMAT).

In September 2018 the MAT was relaunched as PRIME 7 to reflect a new structure aims and vision.

PRIME 7 has delegated most of the powers it has to the Local Governing Body but has a very important role in monitoring and trying to improve both educational and financial achievements at each establishment.

The three individual academies are enjoying working closely together for the benefit of all.

The Trust will ensure that the shared vision will deliver maximum efficiency and the best outcomes for all the pupils.

The MAT is built on seven core principles and values (the reason for the PRIME7 name):

  • Individual schools that retain their unique identities as part of their local communities
  • High standards in teaching and learning
  • Strong and strategic leadership
  • Respect
  • Integrity
  • Nurture
  • Resilience
